Reviews and Ratings
Our stay was absolutely delightful! The hosts, Neil and Sara, made us feel incredibly special with their warm hospitality and personalized service. The picturesque setting was a huge plus, and the room we had made our week-long stay even better. However, we wished we could have indulged in more adventurous breakfast options rather than the regular choices. Still, everything from the cocktails by the pool to the detailed local recommendations made our experience memorable.
Our stay at The Diplomat Boutique Hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home in this stunning oasis. The ambiance is sophisticated yet relaxed, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel is impressive. The breakfasts were wonderful and truly a highlight. We couldn't have asked for better hosts in Sarah and Neil, who went out of their way to make our stay special. The only downside was that we wished we could have stayed longer!
Staying at this boutique hotel in Merida was genuinely delightful. The beautiful, stylish rooms and the inviting courtyard pool made our time memorable. However, while breakfast was good, we felt it could have included a few more options. The service by Neil, Sara, and the team was exceptional, but the walk to the town center could be somewhat dull. Overall, it was a wonderful experience worth every penny.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this boutique hotel! The ambiance was truly a charming oasis just a short distance from the historic center, with beautifully renovated, clean rooms. Sara and Neil, the owners, went out of their way to make us feel at home, but the highlight was definitely the delicious breakfast and lovely pool area. My only small complaint would be that the internet slowed down at times, but overall, it was such a delightful experience and great value for money.
My stay at the hotel was exceptional, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere created by Sara and Neil. The beautifully decorated rooms offered comfort and cleanliness, making me feel right at home. The daily breakfast was a delightful experience, showcasing local ingredients in delicious dishes. While the hotel is in a quiet residential area, it's conveniently close to all the sights Merida has to offer. The only minor downside was the lack of washcloths in the bathroom; everything else was perfect!
